A former prisoner of the Chilean military dictatorship, Socialist candidate Dr. Michelle Bachelet has, with 50% of the vote counted, over 46% of the vote, with her pair of right-wing rivals, including a Santiago millionaire, Sebastian Pinero, trailing her by over 20 percentage points.
