Protestants show might in Catholic Brazil, May 27, 2005

Over two million persons marched in the “March for Jesus” in the city of Sao Paolo in Brazil, a walk that began at the Medical School, and ended at the modernist Avenida Paulista. The event was organized by the Fundação Renascer, a charity supported by the Evangelical Church. It has become a display of Protestant unity, practiced in dozens of nations. The fastest growing religion in mostly-Catholic Brazil is the Evangelical and Pentecostal protestant churches. More protestants live in the Third World.
