St. Vincent and the Grenadines Prime Minister Ralph E. Gonsalves visited with top level Cuban Ministers in a visit to Havana, including President Fidel Castro, Health Care Minister José Ramón Balaguer, Tourism Minister Manuel Marrero, Foreign Investment and Economic Collaboration Minister Marta Lomas, as well as over 150 youths from St. Vincent studying in Cuban Universities.
