Honduras Pulling from Iraq Coalition, April 20, 2004

Iraqi Coalition member Honduras is pulling from rotation and service their 370 troops on the ground immediately, according to President Ricardo Maduro. The Hondurans had been serving in Najaf in a force under Spanish command, and Honduras was greatly affected by the Spanish exit from the coalition. A further reason for the withdrawl is believed to be the lack of a United Nations mandate on the region.
