Many Killed as Colombian Troops Clash with FARC and AUC, February 23, 2004

Over the weekend, the Colombian military, on a new offensive carried out in several regions, clashed with both right-wing paramilitaries and left-wing guerillas. Members of all three groups were killed. Although the exact numbers have been disputed, the estimates are between 50-60.
