On Wednesday, a group of university students and teachers joined together to demand more money be allocated to education.  The teachers are pushing for a monthly raise and are threatening a nation-wide strike if a raise is not implemented.  University students were protesting a plan for a 6% cut in university funding.  Between 80-100 people were arrested and later released by police.
