8 Tourists Kidnapped in Colombia, September 16, 2003

A group of tourists from Israel, Spain, England and Germany, on a trek to the Lost City in Colombia, were kidnapped from their campsite. The kidnapping was believed to have been carried out by the Revolutionary Armed Forces of Colombia. President Uribe sent 1,500 soldiers and nine helicopters to ook for the tourists.
