Court Names Board to Oversee Recall Vote in Venezuela, August 26, 2003

Venezuela's Supreme Court appointed a board to organize a recall referendum that could end President Hugo Chavez' term in office in as little as 90 days. The board's five members must verify the validity of over 3.2 million signatures demanding the resignation of Chavez in order to proceed with the recall.
