Cuba Re-elected to UN Human Rights Commission, April 29, 2003

On Tuesday, April 29th, Cuba was elected for three more years to the U.N. Commission on Human Rights. The U.S. walked out of the meeting in protest, because Cuba is viewed as "the worst violator of human rights in the hemisphere," according to Sichan Siv, the ambassador to the council that elects members of the Human Right's Commission.
