Terrorist attack in Colombia, February 8, 2003

A fashionable night club in Bogotá was the target for the city’s worst terrorist attack in decades. Thirty-two people, including six children, were killed; over one hundred more were injured. The Colombian government blames the leftist group the Revolutionary Armed Forces of Colombia (FARC) for the incident. Thousands of Bogotans marched in the streets of the city following the incident to protest the violence.
