Affiliates of FIU’s Latin American and Caribbean Center were recently featured in Muse News, a newsletter published by the online journal project, Project Muse. History Professor Sherry Johnson and LACIC Librarian Catherine Marsicek, were interviewed regarding their views on this online, full-text research tool that provides over 200 scholarly journals in the arts and humanities, social sciences and mathematics. FIU was chosen for this Campus Case Study as it exemplifies a young university that requires quality research tools that address the needs of students, faculty and researchers who often do research off-campus.
