The Southeast Florida Library Information Network (SEFLIN), in cooperation with the International Federation of Library Associations and Institutions (IFLA), is hosting an international summit in Miami on April 17-20, 2002. Miami is a gateway for many services to Latin America and the Caribbean and is a perfect venue for promoting networking and exchange by professionals who share an interest in library products and service in the Americas. This year’s theme is "Library Cooperation in the Americas," and will feature professional presentations, opportunities to network, and meetings with vendors who provide and support library products and services in Southeast Florida, Latin America and the Caribbean. FIU Libraries’ LACIC will be exhibiting at the summit to share and promote its services.
